What Happened
Scott, as you may know, operates a small self-owned business – “Sandusky Construction” – in addition to his part time preaching position in Concord, NC.   He was operating a self dumping trailer and was all alone.   The bed of the dumping trailer was raised partially up when the batteries that run the hydraulics ran low.  He unhooked his truck from the trailer turning it around to get power from his truck battery.  The load that was still in the dump trailer suddenly slid to the back of the trailer causing it to surge forward crushing Scott’s right leg against his truck.  He was able to remain calm and make a couple life saving phone calls.  Scott came to the edge of life on several occasions due to loss of blood.  The details of this story are full of the grace of God which I will let Scott tell us all about in the coming days.

Needs
Scott has lost his right leg a few inches above the knee.  As you know, Scott is a very physically athletic person and does a lot of his own labor in his business –  that is who Scott is.  Besides his passion for athletics he has always had a passion to build, whether it is framing a house, remodeling, installing a roof or adding a room on someone’s home.  I know God will provide for his family and I pray that with the use of a prosthetic he will be able to return in some form to doing what he loves.   Scott will have financial needs if you find it in your heart to help this great family.  You can do so through this trusted site operated by Dan DeGarmo who works with the church in Chillicothe, OH.

His Family
Scott and Karol are raising 4 Children here in Concord, North Carolina as seen in the photo –  Coby who is currently 8yrs of age, Sydney Jayne – 7yrs of age, Corbin – 3yr of age and finally precious little LilyKaye who is 18months.

Thanks you and may God Bless you all,
Scott’s Big Brother John
